At Unionville Optometry in Toronto, Ontario, Dr. Krista Innamorato is a second-generation optometrist providing a range of professional eye care services to the residents of Unionville and the surrounding area.
Krista Innamorato was born and raised in Markham, Ontario. Affectionately known as Dr. Krista to her patients, she graduated with Honors from the New England College of Optometry in Boston Massachusetts and completed her Bachelor of Science Degree, with specialization in Medical Science, at the University of Western Ontario.
Dr. Innamorato received honours and was an eligible member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honors Society in all four years of her optometry school career.
She is also a Board-Certified Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agent and Certified Optometrist in both the United States and Canada. Dr. Krista has an extensive clinical background in the treatment and management of ocular disease, especially from her internships at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Lowell Massachusetts, and at the Eye Centers of South Florida, where she co-managed with a team of Ophthalmologists.
As an advocate for laser vision correction and specialty lens implants, Dr. Krista offers laser surgery consultations including pre-operative and post-operative eye care. She has also developed a strong interest, and unique expertise in several disciplines including:
- Fitting multifocal contact lenses
- Dry eye treatment using Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
- And LipiFlow Thermal Pulsation System
Dr. Krista Innamorato is dedicated to spreading awareness about the importance of annual eye examinations and is committed to offering the highest standard of eye care to her Markham Ontario patients. She is also keenly interested in science-backed skin care products without a prescription like Skinceuticals.
